“We all have the capacity to inspire and empower others. But we must first be willing to
devote ourselves to our personal growth and development as leaders”

Management and Leadership literature is full of prescriptions, formulas and lists that promise success – “Five traits of successful leadership”; “Seven steps to a killer strategy”; “The three key characteristics of successful cultures” … But the truth is that each individual and each organisation is unique. This has given rise to the concept of authenticity – being true to oneself as an individual, and aligned in some way as an organisation. But aligned to what? And what does it mean to be ‘true to oneself’?

This two day workshop is designed to provide an opportunity for you to stop, to stand back from the day-to-day pressures of work and to ask yourself some fundamental questions about what REALLY matters to you and to your organisation, and how far these things are present, or not, in the way you lead others, and in the way the organisation is led.

The first day will focus on you as an individual:

What has shaped me; What really matters to me; What do I bring to my role that is unique; How resilient am I; What needs attention if I’m to be truly effective?

The second day expands our view to questions that explore organisational health;

How clear is our Purpose and how aligned is this to Strategy, Values and Behaviours; How do we lead in times of change and uncertainty; what needs attention?

Who should attend this workshop?
The workshop is for top management positions (GM or GM -1 level), coming from a selected group of successful organisations. Each participant attendance will be confirmed by CDM, in order to assure a high-level composition of the group.
